Joey Reynolds is a very famous deejay, who's been around since the '60s (he's partied with the Beatles and the Stones among others, and is still good friends with Paul Mccartney, Ringo Starr, and George Martin just to name a few), and now has a very popular "talk radio" show on the oldest and most prestigious radio station in New York City, WOR-710am. He has 4 million listeners, translating to HUGE ratings. Joey has somehow taken a shine to the Schmendricks (and their music), and he frequently has them on his very popular friday night radio show. Whenever the schmens are on, Joey plays their music and they all talk for hours. In fact, Larry Leibowitz wrote a theme song that Joey often uses to open the friday show, called "It's The Jewish Hour".
