The first time I saw the Scmendricks will go down as your best show because I came in with low
expectations. I went the first time because my friend Sammy asked me to go and I figured it would
be a bunch of middle age guys trying to play music and boring everybody in the room. I was totally
blown away how good it was and now when I go to a show I am expecting a lot and despite being
very physically and mentally tired was expecting a great show on Saturday night. I was NOT
disappointed!
First set.
Going Out Tonight @@@@@@
Best original song you have ever done! Sammy gave me a copy of the song last week and I loved it
but was totally into the live version. Great song, I really think it is truly a radio worthy song.
My friend (who owes me a favor, and owns Sterling Sound Studio in the city), will get a copy
tomorrow morning and I will make him give me a review of it and stranger things have happened!--
Remember the movie That Thing You Do?
Rock and Roll Hanukah @@@
I like the song and am humming along.
Poor Poor Pitiful Me @@@@
Wonderful song and the vocals sounded great. Always loved the song so it had a big advantage.
Hang On Sloopy @@@
Give credit to the originality and the Grease portion but I was not as into it as I was other songs.
I Saw Her Standing There @@@
Into it. Excellent Beatles cover, as usual.
First Cut Is The Deepest @@
If I remember correctly this was the Rod Stewart song? Stewart is a difficult person to cover and was
not really into this song.
Im Not Telling You @@@@@
Loved this song--Audrey sounded great and I think it was the first time I heard this original music.
8 Candles Gone @@@
Good sounding, I always enjoy hearing this one.
Don't Stop @@@@
Was very into this song stomping my feet and enjoying the music.
Second set.---My mind was a little altered during the second set and increased
my enjoyment of the music.
Folsom Prison Blues @@@@@
Wonderful song, Larry sounded great. A real highlight of the show.
Little Sister @@@@
A great song, really enjoyed this one.
Burning Love @@@@@

When the intro said it was going to be an Elvis song my mind went to this number. Maybe Sam told me you
were going to do it.--For whatever reason I was thinking you were going to do it and it was wonderful!
Say You Love Me @@@@
Tapping the feet and enjoying the show. Audrey did a great job on the vocal.
Mustang Sally @@@@@@
Don't know why but I loved this song----Have not heard it in years and your upbeat version was Fabulous!!
A strong groove throughout, and I loved Seth's introduction!
Significant Other @@@@
Beautiful slow song.
China Grove @@@@
Great harmonies and great song. The band is very tight.
Back In USSR @@@@@
Loved it. Best Beatle song of the night. The Beach Boys harmonies in the background really added to the
song.
After this song Larry said "we are going to do our last song", and I was bummed!
I really want to hear more. That last song was...
Gimme Gelt @@@,
...and i slipped out as the band was thanking the audience. This was the first Schmen show that did not
have a lot of Stones and that is OK--You played a lot of original music and your original music is
terrific. My only suggestion is that you should work on the intros of the band members--Should be done
during a break in a song! The show was very professional, and the band was very tight all night long.
The food was fantastic, and the sound in the room was excellent. I could hear all the vocalists and
instruments clearly, the setup of the sound system was very nice. I can't wait till the next show!
